My main priority as a teacher is to take care of you and make your yoga practice safe and inspiring.
"Any action done with beauty and purity and in complete harmony of body, mind and soul is art. In this way art elevates the artist. As yoga fulfills the essential need of art, it is an art".B.K.S. Iyengar
Monica Salvarani has been practicing and studying Iyengar Yoga for more than 12 years. Alongside her yoga training, she has deepened her knowledge in anatomy, biomechanics, human movement science, breathing techniques, and pain science.
For over 10 years, she has taught and led classes at her own studio, Samadhi Yoga, helping students build strength, confidence, and a sustainable practice through the precision and intelligence of the Iyengar method.
Philosophy
Yoga for Everyone, at Every Age
This project was created with a simple purpose: to improve quality of life through yoga.
Classes and workshops are designed to support physical and emotional well-being, holistic health, vitality, and healthy aging. Monica welcomes students of all ages, abilities, and levels of experience, offering a practice that is safe, accessible, and deeply rewarding—from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.
Why Certification Matters, Certification is not decoration, It is responsibility.
Teaching yoga is not simply knowing the pose.
It is knowing how to observe, adapt, and guide each student with care.
A teacher must learn to see clearly:
- Is the hip joint moving freely and safely?
- Is the spine supported or collapsing?
- Is the breath natural and unrestricted?
- Is the student forcing without realizing it?
These are not questions that can be answered on paper.
They are answered in the classroom, in real time, with real students and real bodies.
That is why becoming a certified Yoga teacher takes years of dedicated study, practice, assessment, and teaching experience.
Certification is not about status.
It is about preparation.
It is a commitment to teaching with knowledge, precision, and responsibility.
For me, certification was never the end of the journey.
I continue to practice.
I continue to study.
Because learning never ends, and every student deserves a teacher who remains a lifelong student.
